All Clear, a Finish and a Start

The past few weeks I've had the works done, numerous blood tests, ECG's, CT scans etc.  We've done our fill of hospitals and doctors now thank you very much.  Final results through last night and all good for the serious stuff just another week of blood pressure taking and hopefully that will be coming down too.  All migraine headaches under control, I just have to mainly watch the Aspartame content in foods!  Nasty stuff.

I did tinker a little and finally used the ammonite halves I had for ages.  I think it's finished but something is niggling me!  I did want to put a dangle of some sort in the gap but...  We will live with it a while and see.

And now for something completely different.

See, not what you thought.

I am starting to think towards the Dorset Art Weeks in 2014.  A long way off you may think but I would like to have a 'stock' of items to work on and I need to start some-when!

  1. The necklace looks amazing and I am intrigued at what may be going in them. Stay well. I stopped drinking coffee a long time ago and my migraines disappeared. Hope it makes a difference for you.

    1. Thanks Shirley. 'stuff' is going in the boxes, it's what's going around them that should be good! lol

  2. I'm glad the tests havn't turned up anything nasty. The necklet is fabulous. I don't think personally it needs anything else but I'm sure it will tell you itself in time.

    1. We don't think it needs more either, I just have that 'I'm not done yet' niggle.

  3. So glad to hear its not something life threatening, thank goodness for that! Hope you're feeling better. I used to get migraines and blind spots a lot, but like Shirley, I also stopped coffee years ago, and no longer have migraines. They are terrible things to live with, and my heart goes out to you, just hope now you can live without them and enjoy life better.
As for your necklace ... WOW, WOW, WOW .... what a brilliant design and all that work that you've put into it. Just fabulous!!!!!!!

    1. Yes, I've really cut down on coffee, more for other reasons like palpitations an indigestion than headaches though. Aspartame is well known for its ability it ignore any kind of pain killer which makes it a hard one to put up with but, hopefully, an easy one to solve once you know it's the trigger.
Thank you for liking the neck-piece. :-)

  4. Glad to hear everything looks good; I didn't know that about aspartame. Sounds like you've had a thorough MOT :-)

  5. Very sorry you've been poorly, hope you are now on the road to getting sorted.

    Your necklace is sublime ... but necklace isn't the right word for it. I find myself thinking of Torc, and outstanding hoards of medieval jewellery :}

    1. Thank you. I usually call them neck pieces. Torc is a lovely word to use though!!

  6. What a lovely necklace. I think it is good as it is. Glad to hear that your tests have revealed that there is nothing serious. I didn't need to give up the caffeine for my migraines, than goodness, just cut out the wheat and they went away. Are the boxes made from fabric? Intrigued as to what might be going in them.

    1. Caffeine being watched as is the wheat. I'm not liking the ageing thing! The boxes are card and a few in use. A show soon! :-)

  8. It sounds like you have had a really tough time, I'm so pleased the outcome is so positive. I'd die for the neckpiece which is totally wonderful as is and am also most intrigued by the boxes and their conteruction. Does fabric and wadding go on them? Is it glue and or sewing to assemble
Keep well and keep creating. T x
