Appologies to Maggi and...

First, huge apologies to Maggi for not showing her beautiful fabric after it arrived on Tuesday!!!  I have been stroking it, honest!  It is wonderful and there has been some definite ear marking going on.  Thank you so much, keep dying! (That always sounds so awful but you know what mean).

And today is the start of the Big Butterfly Count which we will be doing at some point.  We have been watching the buddleias for the past couple of weeks already.  If you have 15 minutes to spare, perhaps you could join in too.

  1. Glad they have gone to a good home. Thanks for he link to the Butterfly project. I am concerned about the lack of butterflies up here this year although that may be because the buddleias are very late.

  2. Beautiful fabric Amo...lucky you! Maggi you've certainly got the knack!
I saw it was the Big Butterfly Count too but as yet I've only seen one cabbage whit in our garden...maybe it's the washing on the line that's putting them off - or the bloomin' sparrow hawk that landed in our elderberry tree rendering the garden void of any birdsong for a good 10 minutes - it was eerily quiet...

  3. What a great project. I like the sailboats. It is odd that you can't include the year...interesting.

  4. Hi Angie and welcome.

We've been wandering around the garden but they have all gone shy for the moment. We did see Common Blue, Ringlet and Comma (Plenty of those!) as well as the usual White, Brimstone, Peacock and Admiral's but they all seem to be avoiding each other. Of about six largish Buds we only have two out at the moment too Maggi.

Thank you for commenting, it is much appreciated.
